America’s Most Smartest Model is an American reality television show by VH1 hosted by Ben Stein and Mary Alice Stephenson. The show tries to find brains behind beauty in a series of challenges, and will grant the winner $100,000, a feature in an upcoming V05 ad, and the title “America’s Most Smartest Model”. On December 16, 2007 VJ Logan was named the winner of America’s Most Smartest Model, and received a V05 ad campaign and $100,000.

Indiana Jones is a HIT

“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” starring Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett (she’s so great in this movie) and Shia LeBeouf, grossed an estimated $101 million from Friday to Sunday, plus $25 million from its opening Thursday, distributor Paramount Pictures said. The company expects it to earn another $25 million on Monday.

Ashley Harkleroad posed for Playboy

Ashley Harkleroad was knocked out of the French Open 2008 by Serena Williams but stole the limelight by announcing she has posed for Playboy.

Harkleroad, who has endured a mediocre career on the women’s tour and sits at 61 in the world, revealed she had agreed to the photoshoot while she lay in a hospital bed recovering from surgery to remove a cyst on her ovaries.

She believes she is the first tennis player to pose for the magazine and follows American swimmer Amanda Beard in baring all for the cameras.

David Cook Wins American Idol 7

And the winner is…..

David Cook is the 7th American idol. He defeated David Archuleta by 12 million votes in the two-part-finale on May 20 and 21, 2008.

Cook was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. Cook’s interest in music began early in life; he received his first guitar at the age of 2. He began singing in second grade, when his elementary school music teacher gave him a solo in a school choir performance. He proceeded to perform in virtually every Christmas and PTA program. He also participated in choir and drama programs in middle school and high school. At Blue Springs South High School, he performed in musicals, including The Music Man, West Side Story, and Singin’ in the Rain. He had also been an avid baseball player during high school. After losing interest in sports, he focused more on music. He earned a theater scholarship to the University of Central Missouri, but he abandoned theater after two semesters, graduating from the school in 2006 with a degree in graphic design. While in college, he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. After his college graduation, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma to pursue his career in music, telling his family, “I just want to give myself until I’m 26 years old to get a job.”

Cook auditioned for American Idol in Omaha, Nebraska, performing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” He originally did not plan to try out for the show as he was going on a trip to China; he came to the auditions initially to support his younger brother Andrew (who did not make it to Hollywood) and then decided to try out himself.
“Billie Jean,” one of his performances, was highly praised by all three judges, especially Simon Cowell. The performance received well over 1 million views on YouTube. His arrangements of “Hello,” “Little Sparrow,” “Always Be My Baby,” “All I Really Need Is You,” “Baba O’Riley,” “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” and “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” were original arrangements.

Where Is John Lloyd?

John Lloyd Cruz is playing hide and seek with us. Where oh where are you my dear?

According to an exclusive report from PEP, text messages were spreading like wildfire about John Lloyd’s confinement in Medical City due to an overdose of medicine (Heath Ledger the second?).

Turns out, when PEP tried to reach him, he was busy shopping in one appliance store. That’s what you get for being an endorser of one leading medicine brand. (He OD’ed on Paracetamol perhaps?)

Lloydie has been out of the limelight lately because he’s been busy shooting his upcoming movie with Sarah Geronimo. (That’s why!!)

Oh well, till then, his fans are definitely craving for some John Lloyd in their system. I know I am! Yumyum!
